Foundations of Control and Management Sciences

The world which we live in requires nowadays control and management based on scientific foundations. The starting point for contemporary control and management technologies is the so called excess of information, which consists of information processing and expert knowledge. Both components find intelligence which, through its very nature and as a computer aid of thinking processes in human being, enables evolutionary transformation of the reality.

We would wish ourselves, that the publication Foundations of Control and Management Sciences, which the eleventh number we proudly present to you, could widen the expert knowledge of both scientists and practitioners. The theory and practice of FCMS, presented in an electronic form is also welcomed to become a part of database processed in the systems of Artificial Intelligence.

These systems, in today's world of excessive information and knowledge, substantially support processes of search for decisive rationale and making decisions by contemporary managers and specialists in the fields of engineering, control, robotics and multimedia systems.

We hope you find our Journal useful and interesting. We are to publish it biyearly in spring and autumn. We are convinced our mutual co-operation will be fruitful and successful for both control and management sciences.
